A Look Back at a Dream-fulfilled Year 2024

Hello, 2025! I know that it’s a bit late but still sharing my look back on the highlights of my 2024 : a dream-fulfilled year! Year 2024 was indeed an amazing year for us – less hospital visits, so many unexpected blessings, ticked off our first family out of the country trip. Our travel core memories are full. 

EAT.

Food spotting adventure . Mr. Enero and I definitely gained a lot of weight this year (aside from the holiday calories). Thanks to new cafes and favorite cafes that we went and tried. Check out our food spotting adventures on social media using this hashtag : #ELFoodspotting.

Food campaigns. I am grateful that I still have to work with some brands and PR friends. Below are some of my food campaigns this 2024 : Queen Baking products, King Sue Ham, Fishta Seafoods, Purefoods, Hey Charlie’s Halo-halo, Max’s Corner Bakery and others.

Eneros Kitchen. I have attended Maya Kitchen workshop. I learned how to bake these festive holiday desserts : boozy brownie biscoff rumballs, snowy christmas fruit bars, yuletide reindeer most carrot cake and starberry & cream layered verrines. Another #EnerosKitchen milestones unlocked! Thanks to Maya’s Kitchen and Chef Catherine Blas-Yu. I’m so happy to learn news recipes!

PLAY and LOVE.

It was not really a great a way welcome the new year as the kids were both sick but we still chose to booked a staycation instead of traveling to Pangasinan for 4 hours. But overall, I am happy that 2024, we had less hospital visits. We now learned now that the little Eneros have asthma, atleast their asthma can now be curable and maintained using their inhaler. I just wish that this year 2025, their pulmo-pedia will eventually lessen their dosage and will be less dependable to it.

Ticked off one of my personal bucketlist : get a tattoo. Yes I finally got my 1st tattoo as a birthday gift for myself. It’s a sakura flower with alibata initials of El and Lu for Eliana and Luffy. Thanks to my sister Mau, who also got new tattoo. It was not really that painful or my pain tolerance was really high. teehee!

Joined my first FB group live-stream with fellow Nido Moms and it was a blast. I can still remember that my first FB live was wayback 2020 for Grolier PH as one of their brand ambassador. I’m a bit under the weather that day but still happy to pull it off. I’m so happy that I agreed doing it! One for the books indeed.

TRAVEL.

Ultimate family bucket list : ticked off our first out of the country trip. I always want to go to HongKong Disneyland but it’s I want to go there when I already have kids. And yes, dreams do come true! We finally made it. We initially planned it for Eliana’s 7th birthday but pandemic happened, so fast forward, I couldn’t wait for Luffy 7th birthday, so we celebrated it in advanced. We went there last September to celebrate Luffy’s 6th birthday. I will share our Hong Kong itinerary soon!

Sagada-Benguet-Baguio trip. Our last road trip before the 2024 year ends. It was our second time in Sagada, the last time we went there was before kids. I am happy to go there now with the little Eneros. But it was not an easy trip, it was a 17hours roadtrip – foggy and bumpy road. Originally, we went to Nueva Ecija instead to Malico Road but due to heavy traffic we re-route to Malico. It was indeed an intense ride going to Sagada but still our travel core memories are full of happy memories.

2024 was indeed an amazing year for us… indeed a dream-fulfilled year! It started not-so-great, but we are at the same time beyond grateful with our fulfilled dreams, unexpected blessings, accomplished personal growth and ticked off travel bucketlist. I wish to more blessings and more adventures this 2025!
