Grocery shopping is therapeutic rather than a chore for me. Shopwise is one of my happy places.  It is also known for its affordable quality, everyday freshness and budget-friendly variety.  This July, Shopwise launches more exclusive imported brand  in their supermarkets. Definitely a happy place for all wise moms like me.

I am happy that I was invited for their first leg of Shopwise The BIG COOK-OFF 2018. The contestants will create palatable pasta dishes using Shopwise’ Best Value brands like Papa Alfredo, White Hat, Southdale Farm and more. They have two categories : Mommy Bloggers and students from Apicius Culinary School.

There were sample booths of Winemaker’s Reserve, World O’ Noodle Mi Goreng and Papa Alfredo Pasta.

For the Mommy Bloggers category, the contestants were Mommy Rizza of Eli’s Kitchen, Mommy Lourdes of  TheKitchen Mom by Dhess and Mommy Jamie of Mermaid in Stilettos. Below are the appetizing pasta dishes prepared by the Mommy Bloggers.

For the Mommy Bloggers category, Mommy Jamie and Mommy Lourdes won. They will be back on grand finals and compete on the same category.

For the Chef’s category, the contestants were Chef Krissandra, Chef Ariz Joselle and Chef Prinz Ivan – all were from Apicius Culinary School. Below are the sumptuous pasta dishes prepared by them.

For the Apicius Culinary School student’s category, Chef Prinz Ivan and Chef Krissandra won. They will all be back for the grand finals in August and compete with other winners on next leg of the cook-off.
