After 7 years, I’m back in Boracay with my ex-boyfriend (now husband, Nil) and now together with our little Enero – Eliana. And Ferra Hotel Boracay made it extra special…
We arrived at Ferra Hotel Boracay earlier than our check-in time, we were welcomed by Ferra Hotel Boracay’s friendliest smile from their staffs and offered a welcomed drink. We were also welcomed by Ms. France, who had accommodated and assisted us for our whole staycation at Ferra Hotel Boracay. After short chitchats, we have decided to leave our baggage at the reception and roamed around the island while waiting for our check-in time. We had our lunch and went to a Budget Mart near D’ Mall, we have bought water and other stuffs for Eliana.
What I love most about Ferra Hotel Boracay is the location of the boutique hotel. First thing, since it is in Station 2, it is away from the crowded and party atmosphere of Station1 and Station3. And traveling with a toddler, that is what we were looking for – a quiet place for a perfect staycation getaway. Secondly, speaking of perfect location, it is just a few minutes away from D’Mall. It is where a lot of stores and restaurants are located, how convenient for us traveling with a toddler. And lastly, it is in between two beaches, front beach is the known and crowded beach – White Beach, and the other beach is the Bulabog beach, perfect for water sports and less crowded beach.
Upon going back to Ferra Hotel Boracay and entering our room, we were welcomed by a sweet surprise! Good thing, we didn’t have our dessert after having our lunch. And in that moment, seeing our room and our welcome cake, we really felt so suprised and special. It was our first staycation that we have received this kind gesture from our staycation host.
We stayed in a Standard room with queen-sized bed. We, the Eneros loooovee the bed, it smells and looks clean and sooo fluffy!!! We love our room so much that we really need their bluetooth speaker alarm clock to wake us up and say, “Guys, wake up and explore the island”. Our room is simply elegant, a typical hotel room. It was not so spacious, but fits us and most importantly, we felt safe and comfortable.
Ferra Hotel Boracay has 37 guestrooms with room amenities like bluetooth speaker alarm clock, cable tv, DVD player, mini-refrigerator, mini-bar setup and free wifi access in rooms and common areas. All rooms have daily breakfast and two (2) complimentary welcome drinks.
They have 5 room types :
- Standard Rooms. P4,200 in low season and P6,200 in peak season.
- Superior Rooms. P4,700 in low season and P6,700 in peak season.
- Deluxe Queen. P4,700 in low season and P6,700 in peak season.
- Suite Room. P6,500 in low season and P8,500 in peak season.
- One Bedroom Loft. P6,500 in low season and P8,500 in peak season.

At the ground floor, they have a specialty restaurant – Modern Asia Restaurant and they also have a place to chill out at the roof-deck bar – The Ruf Resto Bar, wherein they are offering local favorites and of course, cocktails and mocktails.
Modern Asia offers an all-day breakfast menu, it is also where the breakfast buffet is served. What I love about their complimentary breakfast buffet? They have an Egg Station – yes! You can choose on how you want your eggs to be cooked. I had an egg omelette on my second breakfast and sunny-side up on our last day. And because I love hungarian sausages, I have no complained on having them everyday. They also served waffles and pancakes, breads, cereals and fresh vegetable salads and fruits. And of course, unlimited coffee and juice.
My plate for 3 consecutive breakfast at Modern Asia Restaurant of Ferra Hotel Boracay. Coffee and fresh fruits are always on our table.
Our daughter loved Ferra Hotel’s lap pool. It is always clean, well-maintained and child-friendly. The swimming pool is open from 7am-10pm. We went to Boracay beaches in the morning and chillin’ at Ferra Hotel Boracay’s lap pool in the afternoon. Our daughter indeed enjoyed the pool, wherein we have spent our Boracay late afternoons. It is not a beach-front boutique hotel, but we don’t care anyway – as we have this lap pool by ourselves.
The staffs were all highly accommodating and courteous. To my surprised, they even know my daughter’s name – they have a very child-friendly staffs that really made me happy. They are always greeting us with a wonderful smile from day1 to day4. They have superb service that made us feel at home.
Thank you so much Ferra Hotel Boracay for having us, #EnerosOnTheRoad and letting us experienced the best of Boracay, laid-back BORAtion and for making us feel home. We, the Eneros, loved every moment of our stay in Ferra Hotel Boracay. We will definitely go back and stay again. I am highly impressed and recommend Ferra Hotel Boracay, truly a home away from home experience.
Ferra Hotel Boracay will be having a second branch soon, and they will be having 43 rooms. What excites me about Ferra II is the rooftop pool bar. It consists of a bar, a sun deck, bar and pool lounge, a pool deck leading to a 27m swimming pool with wading loungers. Just WOW! Definitely more reasons to love Ferra Hotels.

It’s been years since our last visit in Boracay. We also stayed in Station 2 away from the beach front para mas mura yung rate, I don’t mind walking naman. Ferra Hotel seems a nice accommodation + okay pa service.
I’ve seen your FB post about this trip and I can clearly say you’ve enjoyed your vacation! ♥ We’ve never been to Bora, I don’t know when but I have a feeling mapupuntahan din namin to. hehe.
I frequent Boracay (for work, though), but I haven’t seen this hotel yet. Must be quite new? Looks good and clean, and affordable based on the rates you shared. Glad you and your family had a great time! 🙂
Thanks for this tip! I’ve never been to Boracay. I joke nga with my husband that malalaos na Bora before we even set foot there, haha! I will remember to go to Station 2 and consider Ferra Hotel when we do go there.
Is the room rate for superior room good for 2 adults and 3 kiddos?
I love the hotel already based on your descriptions haha. Complete amenities, kid-friendly, plus a yummy welcome cake? I’m in haha!
Cute ng welcome cake! Pagpasok palang special na 🙂 Of course nagtagal ako sa photos ng breakfast buffet. And the pool! I think worth it yung rates nila 🙂
Staycations are always a relaxing idea. You really dread going back to real life after a weekend of rest! I’ve never been to Boracay but hopefully I get to bring my kids there.
