My everyday, just like every other millennial mom’s day, is filled with lots. When I was still working mom, I thought being a stay-at-home mom was a lot easier, but I was wrong. There is certainly an added pressure to do it all and be it all as a mom in modern-day society. Accomplishing everything and self-care is honestly gotten exhausting! I wonder how other moms do everything.
Naturally Beautiful MOMents. JOHNSON’S® launches a movement that encourages moms not to compare themselves with the filtered, curated motherhood photos they see on social media, and instead celebrate the beauty of natural bonding moments with their babies, no matter how messy, or unglamorous those may be.

Johnson’s Baby PH : Did you ever feel less beautiful after looking back on your pre-motherhood photos?
My answer : Whenever Facebook reminds me about my throwback pictures – those payat days, at first I felt insecure and missing my “old me”. However, my husband kept on telling me that he loves me just the way I am, and love me even more now. Then that was the time, I embraced and felt loved by my husband even more. No regrets seeing my double chin, my stretched marks and my c-section scars. Definitely, a naturally beautiful MOMent of my motherhood.
I am pleased that to be part of this campaign launch of Johnson’s – to show the Unfiltered Motherhood and Embrace Natural. It was held at The Happy Garden Cafe and hosted by their brand ambassador – Bianca Gonzales-Intal.
Aside from the learning on #unfilteredmotherhood, my daughter and I loved the crafternoon activities facilitated by Tippy Go of The Googly Gooeys. I’m a fan of her crafts and I’m I finally met her in person. The kids first activity is bunny loot bag making. My daughter really had fun designing her loot bag.
.
And what excites my daughter most : the cookie painting. Eliana loves it so much, although she doesn’t want to eat her cookie after because she thought it was just a canvas paper, just like she used to color in the house.
For me, one of the best highlights of the event is when Bianca Gonzales Intal challenges us moms for a “no makeup look“. And she, herself strips off her make-up and this is what I admired about her most, her simplicity even she’s being a star.
“I learned the hard way that motherhood isn’t at all like what you normally see on your Instagram feed, and I was overwhelmed with how tough it was when I became a new mom,” JOHNSON’S® mom Bianca Gonzalez-Intal openly shares. “To be honest, there is so much pressure on mothers today, especially to new moms, as we all try our hardest to be a “flawless” mom when the reality is, motherhood isn’t glamorous—and that is perfectly okay,” the soon-to-be mom of two added.
Together with JOHNSON’S®, one of the world’s most trusted names in baby care, moms today can find a re-assuring and genuine ally that recognizes a simple yet meaningful fact: Motherhood is messy, but what lies in between are the genuine, natural everyday moments she shares with her baby that makes her motherhood journey and their bond more meaningful. “I’ve learned to appreciate that the messy and tough days of motherhood is what gives my journey a depth of fulfilment and joy. I want to encourage other moms to realize, as I did, that motherhood is beautiful with both the good and not-so-good moments, and this beauty is best manifested in those simple moments we naturally share with our babies,” Bianca says.
“It took me a while but I have learned to realize that there is no such thing as a ‘perfect’ mom, that motherhood is beautiful as it is with both the good and the not-so-good moments, and this beauty is best manifested in moments we naturally share with our babies,” shares JOHNSON’S® mom Bianca Gonzalez Intal who was with her two-year old daughter Lucia at the Naturally Beautiful MOMents event of JOHNSON’S®.
“Behind the flawless depiction of motherhood we see nowadays on social media, JOHNSON’S® sees an opportunity to shed light on the unfiltered realities around it. We want to help moms embrace every inch of motherhood and start empowering themselves one step at a time,” JOHNSON’S® Baby South East Asia Marketing Director Maimai Punzalan said.
