I’ve been to Luljetta’s Hanging Garden and Spa last 2014 with some of my travel blogger friends and I am indeed lucky to be invited again to revisit the memorable place with them and some new sets of travel bloggers. And not only that, we had experienced “Tayo Na Sa Antipolo tour”. It was my first media tour with my family and we really enjoyed it. Let me take you to the places we’ve been in Antipolo…
Boso Boso Church
The first church was built as a mission church by the Franciscan missionaries. It was restored in 1986 and completed in 1995. I’m glad that they have preserved the original remaining façade of the old church. It is located in an old barrio in Antipolo named Boso Boso.
It was our first time to visit Nuestra Senora de la Annuciata Parish and there’s this feeling of serenity. I truly love old churches, and the place is so serene. It really feels good to pay a visit here and offer a prayer. Whenever I visited a church for the first time, I usually have a wish through a prayer intention.

Secret Garden of Doris (SGD)
The Secret Garden of Doris is a 1.7 hectare farm in Antipolo. It was founded by Ms. Doris Lee, a hands-on agriculture advisor and communicator. SGC promotes the container gardening, it is a practice of growing herbs and edible plants in containers instead of planting them in the ground. I am an urban gardener and prefer container gardening as I don’t have a big garden to grow my vegetable plants.
SGD is also selling exotic fruit trees and organic products. They as well promote vegetable terraces and landscaping materials. I love how Ms. Doris encourages us millennials to have our own garden and be urban gardeners. One of her advocacy was every year, she’s a planning her birthday tree. That enlightened me and reminisced over my childhood dream : to have a secret garden. This is because of the cartoon I used to watch “Si Mary at ang lihim na hardin“. Now that I am married and have our own house, I am somewhat reliving that dream. I am happy that my husband is so supportive about it, we have a corner garden in which a malunggay tree grows and oregano plants, and a vertical garden full of vietnam rose, bacularis and aloe veras. I wish to have a birthday tree too as I was inspired by Ms. Doris, I can’t wait for my birthday next year.
Ms. Doris and her husband welcomed us with Antipolo’s suman (sweetened rice cake) and blue water ternate flower tea. According to Ms. Doris, the blue ternate flower helps regulate thyroid gland and cure infertility.

Casa Nieves and Kampai Sushi Bar

Kampai Sushi Bar offers Japanese foods, music and drinks in one place. Japanese foods overload!
I love the cozy homey ambiance of Casa Nieves. I have this thing with ceilings and the restos ceiling wowed me! The whole restaurant interior is IG-worthy.
The Casa Nieves‘ seafood paella was everybody’s favorite. One of the best paella’s that I have tasted. Kampai Sushi Bar : Kamikaze Wings, Crazy Makis, Fried Gyoza and Sushi Platter. I love everything except that on the Sushi Platter. I only ate the California Makis, I am not a sushi fan, I don’t eat raw foods but sushi platters are definitely IG-worthy foods. Teehee!

Costa Coffee
After our sumptuous lunch, we headed to Costa Coffee. I am a coffee lover but it was my first time to have a cup of Costa Coffee. Costa coffee was first poured on our shores in 1971 at 9 Newport Street, London, by Sergio and Bruno Costa. London’s coffee bought to Philippines. Their Antipolo branch has a London-style vibe because of the iconic red phone booth.
I ordered for their Flat White Coffee and Caffe’ Cramella for my husband. Costa Coffee’s have a strong taste than the usual coffees around the Metro. They also have mouthwatering pastries, sandwiches and newly Costa crafted pastas.

Camp Tipolo Adventureland is a wild adventure trek, it offers outdoor amenities ideal for children, family or group of people who wishes to go back home to nature and be one with it. Awww! I can see you had such a great time! Ang saya! ♥ I’ve never been to Antipolo yet. Nakadaan, yes, pero yung magvisit sa mga lugar dun, never pa. Lol. I hope I can also visit these places someday, we’re in San Mateo, so it’s really not that far. 🙂
Oh wow, didn’t know Antipolo has that much places that you can visit. I just find it hard to travel now without a car and with three kids in tow. 🙁 I would love to take them to the Secret Farm of Doris. They’ve never been to a farm. Ever.
I’ve only been to Antipolo 3x and I want my daughter to visit the place, too. We also love old churches and I’m curious about Boso Boso Church. Is that near Antipolo Church?
So many offerings. When I work as a trainer before in a real estate company, we often look for places where we could have our workshops and teambuildings. Often, we prefer Antipolo instead of Batangas or Laguna.
