Kids get to be snack engineers for a day!
KidZania Manila delivers another learning experience for kids this 2020, letting them discover how snacks are prepared, cooked, and packaged in the newly improved snack factory.
The premier play city continues to bring out the fun for kids with more than 90 roleplaying activities and at Jack ‘n Jill Snack Factory, the young ones will surely enjoy the entire process of making snacks.
“We’re very very proud to show you a whole new world of possibilities and a place where stories of fun can start—an even better, more improved and definitely more fun, Jack ‘n Jill snack factory. We made sure that everything is made more interactive and in-depth, from combining the raw ingredients up to the final packaging process,” URC Jack ‘n Jill senior brand manager for fabricated potato segment and mixed snack segment Ivy Tan said.
Youngsters will take on the “Snack Engineers” role and embark on an adventure, starting at the sanitation chamber which ensures a clean factory environment, then to the actual snack-making process—the beginning of which turns raw ingredients such as potato and corn into powder form.
The kids then pour the powder into the mixing chamber along with water to create fresh dough. Afterwards, they flatten it using special cutters, place it inside the cooking and drying chambers then season and flavor it at the packaging station.
Through this activity, the power of play also surfaces as kids develop a keener sense of coordination and following directions to produce good results, while also integrating fun in the process.
“In our city, kids learn just how fun life truly can be with the adult role as they explore, as they experience and enjoy it through different work and careers for them. . . . After all, it’s these kids who grow up to shape and mold the world, and it starts with them having fun as they do just that,” KidZania Manila content manager Ikey Canoy explained.
KidZania Manila operates under ABS-CBN Themed Experiences Inc., a subsidiary of the country’s leading media and entertainment company that seeks to bring unique Kapamilya experiences in engaging and interactive themed attractions.
