Now in its third year, the Profriends-sponsored event features fun activities and celebrates the vibrant community spirit in Parc Regency and Monticello as the property developer marks its 18th year in Iloilo.
Homeowners, residents, and employees of Parc Regency Residences and Monticello Villas came together for the third community-led Familia Fiesta, supported by Property Company of Friends, Inc. (Profriends). The celebration featured engaging activities, friendly competitions, and meaningful interactions that showcased the vibrant spirit of Profriends communities while commemorating the company’s 18th year in Iloilo.
Now in its third year, the event continues to reflect Profriends’ purpose of building not just houses, but vibrant, connected, and empowered communities. Through every game, gathering, and shared experience, the celebration underscored the property developer’s mission of creating communities and transforming lives. Designed to foster unity, strengthen relationships, and promote social responsibility, Familia Fiesta has grown into a much-anticipated annual tradition.
A lively start to the celebration
The celebration kicked off on July 19 with a festive motorcade that energized the streets of Monticello Villas and Parc Regency Residences. Homeowners, employees, residents, and volunteers took part in the parade aboard decorated vehicles, waving banners and exchanging smiles that set the tone for the festivities to come.
The excitement continued at the community gym, where the Youth Club led the volleyball and basketball preliminaries. These friendly matches helped build anticipation for the finals while highlighting teamwork, sportsmanship, and the strong sense of community that defines the neighborhood.
Celebrating community through engaging activities
The highlight of the two-weekend celebration took place on July 26, starting early in the morning with the much-anticipated color fun run. Residents of all ages joined the 1KM, 3KM, and 5KM categories, transforming the streets into a lively canvas of color, movement, and cheer.
After the run, the community came together for a Thanksgiving Mass, a meaningful pause for reflection and gratitude as Profriends Iloilo celebrated 18 years of building integrated communities that create lasting value and uplift the lives of Filipino families.
“This year’s Familia Fiesta marked a meaningful celebration of our 18th anniversary and reflected the spirit that drives our communities forward. It was inspiring to see families, employees, and partners come together in celebration, showing the strong bonds that have grown within our developments over the years. Moments like these reaffirm our mission to go beyond building houses by fostering communities where people feel a genuine sense of connection, purpose, and belonging. This celebration is a testament to the shared values and relationships that continue to shape our work and strengthen the communities we serve,” said Estate and Assets Management Department Head Ferdinand Martirizar.
The rest of the day offered a variety of activities that encouraged fun, teamwork, and connection. Families took on exciting challenges during the Amazing Race, where participants of all ages competed in games that sparked laughter and built camaraderie. Adding to the charm was the Furbabies Costume Contest, with pets delighting the crowd in their most creative costumes.
Meanwhile, gamer residents faced off in the Mobile Legends Tournament, while others enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of Open Pool Day or joined the Bingo games, which offered a refreshing break for families looking to relax and unwind.
As the day drew to a close, the community gathered for the Basketball and Volleyball Finals. Cheers echoed through the court as friendly competition brought out community pride. The celebration culminated in an Awarding and Fellowship Night, where winners were recognized, and everyone came together to celebrate another successful year of shared milestones, memories, and meaningful connections.
Continuing the legacy of building communities with a heart
Profriends established its presence in Iloilo in 2007 with the development of residential estates in Pavia, marking the beginning of its growth outside Luzon. What began as a single development has since grown into vibrant neighborhoods such as Parc Regency Residences and Monticello Villas—communities that have helped shape Pavia into a thriving municipality and opened new opportunities for many local families.
As Profriends continues to expand, it remains committed to providing Filipino families with quality homes in sustainable communities where they can feel safe, connected, and empowered.
Events like Familia Fiesta reflect Profriends’ philosophy of being a community builder with a heart. These initiatives demonstrate the company’s commitment to creating spaces where relationships grow, families thrive, and values such as unity, connection, and mutual support are nurtured. The continued success of these events stands as a testament to Profriends’ unwavering dedication to building communities that uplift lives and create lasting impact—transforming Kapitbahays into Kapitbuhays.
